PR Manager in Manchester

An outstanding professional services business who are known for their amazing culture, are looking to recruit a talented and ambitious PR Manager into their fast growing communications team.

As the PR Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and managing the PR, media relations and press office activities for a network of regional offices.

You'll work strategically and tactically to create, deliver and oversee proactive and reactive communications for the regions, creating high quality and engaging communications, and develop relationships with fee earners and internal stakeholders.

Day to day you'll be responsible for:

• creating and managing a media relations strategy
• leading the press office work for the region and developing commercial media opportunities
• proactive and reactive media management
• visiting and developing relationships with the teams across the regions
• creating press releases, articles and thought leadership pieces
• creating social media content
• developing relationships with journalists and industry media specialists
• research, plan and manage media awards

To be considered for the role of PR Manager you must be able to demonstrate you have:

• PR experience gained either agency side or in-house (from any industry sector!)
• exceptional writing skills and the ability to write engaging copy
• experience in working with journalists/media
• an ambitious and proactive approach
• the ability to develop and nurture relationships both internally and externally
• excellent time management/plate spinning skills!
